TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Gravity Gym! We are delighted to have you on board. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our members, we have established a set of policies for our recreational classes in 2024. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with these policies. It is a requirement of membership that parents log into the parent portal and accept our policies, terms and conditions and keep their contact details up to date.

Fees and Payment
In 2024, fees will be based on the per lesson charge for the class enrolled in. The amount charged will reflect the number of classes held on that day of the week in that term. This means that the term amount processed can differ depending on the day of the week attended. If booking midterm, you will only pay for the remaining weeks.

Term fees can be paid by the following options:

  • In full upfront, online, in-store or over the phone.
  • $50 Deposit with remainder of term fees to be paid via direct debit with full term to be paid in entirety by week 5 (or 6 if fortnightly).

If outstanding fees are not paid and are more than two weeks in arrears, the club reserves the right to restrict or refuse training privileges. Please note accounts are not issued. Charges and previous payments can be viewed by logging into the parent portal, accessed from our website www.gravitygym.com.au.

Credit can only be used during the current year and is non-transferable from year to year.

Credit Card Surcharge
Visa/Mastercard – 1.98%
American Express – 3.85%
All fees are calculated on the transaction value. (Additional 1.10% charge applied for International Credit Cards)

Annual registration and insurance
This charge is for the calendar year and is due in its entirety regardless of the length of enrolment in classes. Those joining on or after 31st October 2024 are charged a reduced rate for 2024. Please note this charge is billed separately and is in addition to tuition fees. Gymnastics New South Wales Affiliation is non-refundable and will not receive credit.

Length of training year
Our recreational programs commence on the following term dates:

  • Term 1 – Monday 5th February 2024 until Saturday 13th April 2024 (10 weeks)
  • Term 2 – Monday 29th April 2024 until Saturday 6th July 2024 (10 weeks)
  • Term 3 – Monday 22nd April 2024 until Saturday 28th September (10 weeks)
  • Term 4 – Monday 14th October 2024 until Saturday 21st December (10 weeks)

Sibling Discount
Within programs, the club offers families a sibling discount on the monthly tuition component of costs, applied to the lesser account. This discount is a reduction of 10% for a second gymnast, 15% for a third gymnast, and 20% for a fourth gymnast.

Declined Autopay
Any payment which is declined will incur an additional $10 administrative charge and this charge will be added to the amount to be processed. You will also have an additional $5 charge from the provider Payrix. If payment is requested to be processed on a different date the above administrative charge may also apply.

Notice of a Decision Not to Continue
All bookings are for the term and final. When you book in, you are committing to the full term. No refunds are given. Credit may be issued if injured and accompanied by a Drs or physio certificate and emailed to admin@gravitygym.com.au

Public Holidays
Classes are not held on public holidays. If your class falls on a public holiday you are not billed for that class.

Make-up Policy
If you are unable to attend your lesson, your lesson is forfeited. There is no refund for lessons that are not attended. If you are unable to attend your class you must inform Gravity Gym more than 45 min prior to the start of the class.

If eligible you will receive a make-up token to book into an alternative class within the next 45 days. Makeups not redeemed within this timeframe will automatically expire. Make-ups are only available whilst you have an active booking. Once you withdraw from lessons any outstanding make-ups are forfeited.

Each booking within the recreational program is eligible for 3 make-ups per term. Make-up tokens will appear on your customer portal after the time of the missed class, not at the time of cancellation. Make-ups rely on other clients cancelling from their lesson and are only available if there is a suitable vacancy within the class. There is NO guarantee that there will be a class that suits you, especially during our busiest classes. Notification of cancellation of your class and booking a make-up class can be done online through the Customer Portal.

What to Wear
All students may wear T-shirts and shorts, crop tops and shorts, singlets and shorts, tights or Leotards . NO chewing gum or dangling jewellery. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire class. Bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during lessons are not to be worn.

Personal items should be left in cubby holes. Jewellery should not be worn. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELLERY ARTICLES AT HOME. GG will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name.

Arrival & Pickup
Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) for their scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student.

No student 12 and under will be permitted to leave GG premises unless a guardian comes in to the centre to collect them. This forms part of our child safe policy.

During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully.

Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.

We are looking forward to an exciting year of gymnastics ahead and thank you for your cooperation in following these policies.
